Polish IT managers awarded

Polish Chief Information Officers were awarded in European CIO of the Year 2006 contest. Rafał Hanys from the City Council in Wrocław was second in the “Public Sector CIO of the Year” and Tomasz Romanowski from Alstom Power in Elbląg was second in the “Enterprise CIO of the Year” category. The winner of this category was Johaness Helbig from Deutsche Post.

The contest was organized by the International Data Group. There were sixty people nominated in the final contest. The jury was composed of international experts and journalists specializing in IT & management issues.
